Very very sad news from Spain – my dear sweet little Sly guy is no longer with us.  He’d been losing weight over the last year or so and was obviously getting more frail.

He had to be taken to the vet in town and, while his heart and lungs were good his kidneys were failing.  His bloodwork was awful and they said there was nothing they could do for him.  He was almost 17, so had had a good long life in a safe, warm home with a ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’ who both loved him dearly.

While he was a fierce hunter and would catch and face off with full sized rats, and twice caught a magpie, he was also the sweetest and most loving little fellow.  He always enjoyed a good combing and would never turn down a cuddle.

My adorable little bunny buddy – I miss you.  RIP
